Populists At Austin, Texas

Austin, Tex., July 28.- The populist state convention was called to ordei shortly after 10 o'clock by J. S. Brádey, chairman of the state central conimittee. The convention is one of the argest political gatheringa ever held n the state, nearly every county havng a full representation. Candidatea or all the state offices to be filled at he November election are to be nomnated. The convention is dominated by the middle-of-the-road faction, and all indlcations point to the nominatlon of a straight ticket
