Washington, Oct. 4. - The compnay of Illinois signai troops under command of Capt. John W. McConnell left Washington this afternoon over the Pennsylvania railroad and will arrive in Chicago Tuesday at 5 p. m. They will then be furloughed and sixty days later will be mustered out of service. Theee are the only troops, outside of the Pirst Illinois regiment, from Chicago wht have seen service beyond the sea, and they have received the highest commendations from GenerĂ¡is Brooke and Haines and other commanding officers.
