Square a beautiful monument of which are all proud - Washington on horsa'hacli is the central figure, and Jefferson, Marshall, Madison, Levis, Henry and Hason surround hiui. Every true Virginian looks on thuso with pride, and poiuts to fcheni as the glories of the past. The money with which this classic pile was built was borrowed. Some bloated fiend lent Virginia tbe money with which to coinmemorate the deeds of her sons, and took her bonds for it, which have not yet been iaid. Tlio Mozarters and thoir High Piiest say these bonds should not bo jiaid, because this is not the Statu which contracted the debt.
