A New Poultry Organization

A meeting of poultry fanciers was held at Cook'rt hotel in thia city on Monday, November 3d, and an association, to be know as the Michigan poultry and pet stock assooiation, was formed, and the following officers wero elected : President, J. A. Watling, Ypsilanti ; vic president, E. Helber, Saline ; C. 8. Pitkin, Ypsilanti ; secretary, D. J. Fisher, Ann Arbor ; treasurer, J. M. Swift, Ann Arbor ; executive coroinittee, W. B. Seymour, Ypsilanti ; Lancaster Oorton, Salem ; W. A. Hatch, Ann Arbor ; S. W. Holcotnb, Franciscoville ; Waton Snider, Ypsilanti ; superintendent, M. 0. Clark, J. 8. Walker, Auu Arbor. The society propose to hold a poultry and pet stock exhibition in tbis city during the coming winter. The society will hold their next meeting at tbe court house, Wedneaday, Novomber 12'h, nt 7 o'clock P. M., and all personB interested in the above society are earnestly requested to come to the next meeting and join the society.
