SUFEBIOR, Nov. 25. Anotheï pioneer has fallen, Mrs. Mary J. Wheeler died Nov. 17, in the 61th year of her Sge. She was born at Mount Hope, Orange County, N. Y., May 16, 1816, and with her parents, Charlea and Abigail Murray, located lauds on seotion 10 in Superior in the fall of 1830. Two yeais later her fathor died leavtng her mother with Beven children. Mrs. Murray died in August, 1878. Her last years were Bpent with her daughter, and was forty-six years a widow. The subject of this notice was usarriod to Kobert Wheelock in Ootoberi 1833, a native of West Bloomfield, M. Y., bom in March, 1803, and who located 240 acrei in Salem and Superior in 1326, where he resided during big residence in Michigan. Mr. Wheelock depaited this life in 1S48, loaving a widow (la.sly deceased) and a daughter residing upon the farm origiually purcha3ed by her father. For eeventeen years Mrs. Wheelcck was a great sufferer, the last twelve years entirely helpless the greater part of the time. She could neither dress nor feed hersolf, and yet amidst these protractedjgsuiferings complained not, meekly and patiently awaiting the final guniinons. She passed away Gently as tlie setting sun, Whcn'tho Christian's work is done. The deceased was the constant care of her daughter who faithfully ministered unto her every want. Her sufferinga were mitigated so far as possible by the constant watch of o loving child. In Superior. Nov. 19, of spinal complaint, liouie, son of Frank P. and Anna Galpin, aged one yoar six months and thirteon days.
