- The hospitals are crowded with patients. - It is expected the Palladium will appear about December 15. - Owing to the thanksgiving vacation no University Chronide was issued last Saturday. - Those who love good musio and reading have a treat iu store at University hall to-night. - Mr. McICay of the senior law claas has returned to his studies and will gradúate with the class. Tho modioal torm or ochool j-car has been divided into two semesters, corresponding to the literary departmont. - Judge Cooley eomuienced quizzing the seniora on last years' lectures on constitutional liuiitations, last Wednesday afternoon. - Professor D'Ooge gave a thanksgiving dinner for the pupüs at the university from Grand Rapids. The professor camo from that city here. - J. R. McLauglilin of Pontiac a gradúate of the law class of '79 was in the city last week uianaging the interests of the Tiltou lecture here. - Mr. Collins ataxidermist of Detroit will soon lócate here to mount the ïmens for the museum which have been accuiuulating for some time past. - Miss C. A. Bennison, secretary of the senior law class, who was called home on account of the sickness of her mothor, will soon return to her studies. - Professor Hennequin has in preparation for early publication two new works - a French grammar and a work on Germán for advanced students. - The latest novelty for the students is a new design of sleeve button with a picture of the building of the ment they are attending, engraved or statu ped on it. - December 13th has been fixed aa the date for the issue of the first copy of the new paper. It will be entitled The University. Judge Cooley will Lavo an artiole iu the first number. - There is a somewhat general query among the students as to why the Chronicle exchanges are not given a place iu the reading room, so that students can see what is going on at other colleges and universities. - After a thorough investigation and examination, by the cotnmittee appointed to arrange for the senior law class pictures, it has been decided to engage the Notham Photography Co. of Albany, N. Y. Mr. McMillen the representativo of the compauy was in the city the first of the week making arrangements, and will eend his operativos hore the fir8t of January. - The students have been decidedly fortúnate this year in securing reduced rates for the holiday vacation as every road leading out of Toledo and Coluinbus will sell students tickets at one-third less than tho regular rate, which will make it two cents a mile each way; tickets are good from 13th of Dec. to the 25th going and good to return uutil January lOth. -The offieers of the Christian assooiation are as folio ws: For the homeopathie school- C.
