BTONET Creek, Deo. 22. -The society of Frienda are holding a series of meetings at their church, witli very favorable results. -The hotel stand at Paint Creek has a .rain changed hands, David Beaubian of Maybee is to be the next occupant. - Charler W. Alban haa traded his property known as "Moore's Mili" in Ypsilanti, with Eiwin 8. Butta for his farm of 80 acres in Augusta. - Sickness ia prevailing somewhat in Augusta. Mrs. Joel Powera ha3 had a severe attack of inñamniatory fever. Mrs. James Rust has also been siok with the samo fever. Hr. Elmer Moorman the President of the Paint Creek Reform Club started north about three weeks ago with the intention of staying a year or thorenbouts, but, changing his mind returned to this vicinity a few days later. Our community was startled by the announcement of the rnarriage of the aforesaid gentleman to Miss Ella Brown a well Snown young lady of this place. The happy couple go to Ortonville, Oakland county to live. They have our best wishes for a long and happy life.
