- College labors were reaumed ou Tuesday. - Terms of office of C. B. Grant and Dr. Chas. Kynd expired Jan. 1. James Shearer of Bay City and E. O. Grosvanor of Jone6villo succeed tbem. Beginning with sunday next at 3 p, M., religious services will bo held at the University, President Angelí inaugurating tho seiies of diseourses, to be followed by other members of the faoulty. A regular meeting of the Aun Arbor Scientiftc society will be held in the Zoological room in the University on Saturday evening commeneing at 7:30 p. M. A paper on " Ainoeba and inau" will be read by Prof. Stowell. - The suelden resignation of Prof. Hawkes frora the homeopathie faculty two years ago, after giving ono lecture, never returning froin Chicago to this city, and the equally surprising resignation of Prof. Gatchell aud hia sudden disappearance frora the city within six hours thereafter, shows there is something radicaüy wrong somewhere.
