Ciielsea, Feb. 5. - W. J. Knapp who has been to Florrida on a wedding trip returned last mght. - Mrs. Warren of Ann Arbor will addresa tho Reform club Sunday afternoon at the club room. - O. E. Clark sold bis property here last week and left for Kansas witli soine other families from Kent county. - Tho masocic fraternity had a supper at their hall last Tuesday night which was well attended and much enjoyed. - The Chelsea village board is considoring an ordiuanoo to suppress billiard and pigeon hola tables in public places and all ganiing. - Tho going is some botter hero and wheat, barley, oats and pork have beun coming to this market again after tho long dull timo we have had. - Rev. II. P. Eoss iectured to tLe Reform club lust Sunday night and gave good satisfaction. His oil paiutings add great interest and effect and every club that can, should secure a lectura from him.
