To The Pioneers
Prof. W. II. Meek bas been engagöl to give a series of entertainments in the different ciiies and villages in the coun-' ty for the benefit of the Washtenaw County Pioneer Society, commencing at Dexter on Wednesday, April 14. The proceeds of these entertainments will be appropriated to fitting up and furnisliing the Pioneer room in the Court House. Prof. Meek ranks among the best elocutionists of the day and has never failed to instinct, amuse, and in every particular satisfy the most fastidiousand critical audiences. Ui; eptertainments are a complete sutcess. Pioncers and those interested in the welfare and prosperity of the Pioneer Society should patronize these eutertainmcnts liberally.
