The County Fair

The exeeutive and business committees of the Washtenaw County Agricultura! and Hortlcultural Society held a meeting at tho Court House last Saturday, June 19, and the following is an abstract of the business fcransacted: It was resolved t hold tho fair for 1880 on September 28, 2CJ, 80, and October l. It was ordered that 200 illustrated posters, size 40x00 inches, printed in three colors, be procured of Merars. Ruesell ft Co. of Cincinnatl, at Sloper hundred. Itwasalso decided to publish 3,000 copies of the premium list, and that the printing of the same be given to the lowest responsible bidder. A resolution was odopted directing tbe offeri&g of a diploma for the best "0 roda or more of hedge fence of any kind, and that C. II. Kichmond, E. B. I'ond and Sampson Parker be appointed judges thereon. It waa also ordered that those who desire to compete in the above elass must make tlieir entry with the Secretary imtMdiately after the premium list is lasued, so that the judges can make their awardbefore the fair. Silleck Wood was appointed a commiüee to negotiatt! with the railroads for excursión rates during the fair. The, judging eömmitteeB for the comLng fair were appointed, after which the meeting adjourned.
