Saline, June 22. - 'Diek' Gauntlett is on the road buying eggx for Cobb and Ilanser. -The Reform Club propose to have a 'big' meeting on Sunday the 4tliof July. - Where are all the tr&mpsf llaying time ia at hand. That accounts for their migration. - Okl 'Frobability' Spokes is back in the store again as large as lii'e and almost as natural. -As far as our observation has extended, there h;is not been a pound of wool for sale in our market. - llaying lias commenced quite lively in this part of the cöunty, and there is lots of it and of good quality. - W. E. Blackburn is fitting up the old Weini'tt stand for abortar shop. He will move in in a day ortwo: - Mr. George C. Amsden is repainting the residences of W. II. and B. P. Davenport. ïhey had men from Detroit when they built. - The nasty little spite snit for shooting off flre arms withinthe liniits of the corporation, Gough vs. Barr, resulted lñ a verdict for defendant. Family feud. - The spring term of our Union school expires, un Friday June 2ö. I suppose the boys and girls are looking forward to lots of fun, during two months of vacation, Fourthof July, lst of August and piles of dog-days. - We noliced in the Washtenaw Post that there were a couple of Germana in Saline wilh their "hearts in the rig}t place yet." Now we can 't teil where iliey are. They are not in my pen. - There are lots of good Germana in our luwn hut they are uot the, kind that the Post refera to. They use their pena and brains. and their tliiee thousand dollars for a far different purpose.
