WertiPi'm son f the pastor herc, was ordained as minister. Revs. JttaasS of Detroit. Neumann of Ann Arboratld Kuenzler of Freedom were present. The Lutheran society is the strongest in town. - P. F. Blosser father of the editor of the Enterprise met with a very painful accident Monday morninf?. He was filling a new gasoline stove, and accidentally slopped some over on to another stove in the same room. The gas immediately took fire. The sieevrs on Mr. Blossers arms were burned off, his arms, hand and one side of his face were also badly burned. His whiskers were burned off and eye-brows scorehed. Medical assistance was rendered by Drs. Lynch and Ultes. -The poiitical meeting at Goodyear hall Saturday evening was another indication of the impossibility of creating any enthusiasm among the repubiieans here for their candidate.s. Like the one held here a few weeks ago, theaildiéhce was composed principally of democrats and greenbackers who feit sorry for the speakers and so helped to give them a house. Frazer was not present on account of sickness. A. J.Sawyer addressed the meeting, his speech being the same oíd speech we have been regaled with so many times in the past. The "aouth" and "bloody shirt" doctrine forminir the greater part of it.
