Pelegatos representing tlietowns ana wards comprising tlie seeond district representa! i ve convention, met at Saline on Friday, Sept. 17. Temporary organization was effeoted by the seiection of F. J. Bwalne of Ypsilanti,obairman, and D. P. McLaclilan, secretary. Committees appointed: Credentials- Charles R. Whitman, 3. 8. Henderson, Clarence Tinker. Permanent orgamzation- F. E. Jones, Jason Gillett, E. M. Spencer. The formers report which was adopted showed the following delegates entitled to seats In the convention: Augusta, Charles Merritt, Wm. Loudon, Charles Rogers, Levi Kogers. Pittsfleld, Henry Depew, J. S. Ilenderson, John Tate. Saline, H. M. Russell, F. E. Jones, Ezra Sanford, E. W. Wallace, J.II.Ortman. D. P. McLachlin. York, M. J. Kelsey.Ge.orge Coe, TTorace LeBaron, G.M.BrowB, J. Gauntlett. Ypsilanti town, Jason Giliett, E. C King, Wm. Willings, Wm. Bell. Ypsilanti city, lst. Ward, E.M. Spencer, G eorge 2d Ward , Chas.K. "VYhitman and Mclntyre, and the convention adjourned sine die.
