NEW SALINE TEACHER.

A Big Sale of Heavy Spring Pigs at Good Prices.

Saline. Mich., Jan. 2.- The D., Y., A. A. & 3. road have placed a new car on the Saline division, which is up to date.

Miss Hattie Shankland has been employed to teach the third and fourth grades in the Saline school.

Fred Henne and family spent New Year's in Ann Arbor.

J. M. Gross delivered to Hearn & Bordim 48 spring pigs. averaging 260 pounds, receiving six cents a pound, a total of $762. This beats them all.

Ed Hauser and mother spent New Year's in Ann Arbor.

Reuben Llndenschmld of Ann Arbor spent New Year's in Saline.

George R. Lutz and Howard Rogers made New Year's calls in Detroit.

The Presbyterian Sunday school has elected the following officers: Superintendent, D. A. Crittenden; assistant superintendent, Fred Nissley; chorister. Mrs. E. Hill: secretary. Cari Josenhans; treasurer, H. Josenhans.
