Bellevllle, Mich., Jan. 7.- Miss Ida Coates spent her vacation with her cousin, Miss Sarah Coates.

Miss Hannah Waters is the guest of Detroit relatives and friends this week.

Mrs. Robt. Fell is on the sick list.

About 40 friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Coates gave them a surprise last Friday evening on their twenty-second wedding anniversary. About midnight, J. R. Brayton presented them with a beautiful set of oak dining room chairs, and then refreshments were served with the beautiful music of Mr. Fell's phonograph.

The Grangers are getting on fine with their new hall.

Vern Atyeo is the guest of Detroit relatives this week.

The masquerade given at the Music hall new Year's Eve was largely attended. 

Dr. E. B. Kellogg has moved into Dr. Fell's office.

Daniel Round was buried Sunday at 11 o'clock under Masonic auspices.

There will be a dance in the Music hall of this place Jan. 11. All are cordially invited.

Ed. Atyeo was home on a visit last week.
