Chelsea, .Mich.. Jan. 6.- Julius M. Klein, of St. Louis, Mo., who has been spending the past week with his father, returned to his home today.

This week will be observed by the churches as a week of prayer.

The members of the G. A. R. and W. R. C. had a banquet and public installation of officers at their hall Saturday.

This village has been headquarters for a number of tramps the past week. It is currently reported that there is running in full blast a "blind tiger" in the western part of Sylvan township.

The K. O. T. M. of this place are making great preparations for their social Friday night of this week.
