WOMEN WANT TO SEE FARRINGTON

Adrian Telegram: All day today the jail office was besieged by visitors to get a peep at Farrington. Sheriff Shepherd states that at least 600 people have been at the jail office since the shooting, wanting to get a view of the prisoner. Many of them are women, who come in "to look through the jail." They never have seen it before and this has been an incentive to look in. They all wanted to know which was Farrington and then went away satisfied.

This afternoon Frank Sayles, the father of Mrs. Farrington, came here and had a whispered conversation with Farrington in the jail office. It was presumably concerning the financial portion of the difficulty.
