A Dividend Of 6 Per Cent

At the annual meeting of the Huron Valley Building & Savings association held Monday evening, Moses Seabot, J,B.Willis and Wm. Biggs were re-elected directors for the coming years. Wm.D harriman was elected president, Jas.B.Willis vice-president; H.H.Herst, secretary, Paul Snaaubel, treasurer; W.k.Childs and John C.Fisher, finance committee; Chas.E.Gree,e, E.E.Calkins and N.Stanger, auditing committee; Messrs, Biggs, Seabolt and Willim, building committee. A dividend of 6 per cent was declared. The secretary reported that during the past four years over $100,000 had been paid to shareholders with interest averaging 8 per cent per annum, or an equivalent of about 10 per cent, figuring the saving of taxes, monies with the building & Loan association being exempt from taxation.
