Chelsea Fishermen On The Wonder

Chelsea, Jan. 15.Chas.Schaffer is now in the employ of Judson & Downer as meat cutter in their market.

The Chelsea orchestra will furnish music for a dancing party at Grass Lake tonight.

There has been a deputy game warden here from Ann Arbor looking up the matter of fishing through the ice and some of the fishermen are somewhat anxious as to the next move in the matter.

The donation at the Baptist church last evening, for the benefit of the pastor, was well attended.

The Woman's Home Missionary society of the M. E. church will give a tea at the church Wednesday, January 22. Supper served from 5 p. m. until all are served. 

 The annual meeting of the German Workingmen will be held at the hall on Monday evening, January 20.

J.S. Cummings has his store equipped with a gasoline lighting plant.
