The Views Drew a Large Crowd

Trinity Lutheran church was crowded Sunday night to listen to the first of a series of sermons given by the pastor on "Pilgrim's Progress." An interesting song service, in which familiar hymns were sung, was led by the church choir and the congregation joined heartily in the singing. The hymns and Scripture lessons were thrown upon the screen and the pictures, although plain, were illustrative of the first part of the story. The sermon which was a thoughtful and elegantly worded discourse, portrayed the Pilgrim in his varied experiences until he arrived at the wicket gate. Judging from the service last evening the series promises to be a very interesting one. The second will be given next Sunday evening.
