Detroit Journal: Dr. R. S. Copeland, mayor of Ann Arbor, was in the city today, presumably for the purpose of fixing up his political fences. The doctor is a promising candidate for congress from the Second district, although he is very modest about it. Dr. Copeland is well liked in Ann Arbor and throughout the country. Besides being mayor of Ann Arbor he is a member of the faculty of the University of Michigan.
