A valuable addition to the Ann Arbor Skat club has been made. It is perhaps not known to the general public that Ann Arbor holds in its midst one of the most proficient Skat clubs in the country. Skat is by far the most difficult game to master, and ranks as such the world over. About six weeks ago Ross Granger, Jacob F. Schuh and Leo Gruner were taken as probationers, and at the last session of the club Mre Ross Granger was unanimously elected as one of its members, he having in that time mastered the difficult game, and a certificate of full membership was issued to him. There is no doubt but that Mr. Granger will be one of the delegates to the American Skat congress held this summer (in Lodi) he having shown great skill ad proficiency during the last session. The club is to be congratulated on this valuable acquisition.
