Foster Makes His Itinerary

The commissioners' examination for eighth grade pupils will be held Friday and Saturday, Feb. 21 and 22, at the following places: Commissioner's office, Ann Arbor; Saline high school; Manchester high school; Chelsea high school; Dexter high school; Milan high school; No. 6 fr. Augusta (near Willis), No. 2 Salem (Worden); No. 3 Freedom (Fredonia); Whitmore Lake No. 11. A second examination will be held at these same places May 16 and 17, of which no further notice will be given. Owing to being unable to secure a room in Ypsilanti there, will be no examination there.

The subjects in which examination will be given are:

First day - A.M., orthography, spelling, arithmetic; p.m., government, penmanship, grammar.

Second day - Physiology, history, geography, reading.
