Seneca Litchard is Not in a Condition to be Removed

Profs. Hinsdale and Kinyon, the two homeopathic doctors appointed to make an examination as to the mental condition of Seneca Litchard, met with a very cordial reception at the rival hospital Wednesday afternoon. They were treated with every courtesy.

Dr. Klingman met them and conducted them to Litchard's ward and told them what he knew of the case.

Dr. Hinsdale filed his report with Judge Watkins this morning. It stated that Litchard is troubled with insanity of the Traumatic variety following immediately after a severe injury to the head. "He talks incoherently and uses wrong words to express himself. He is irritable and restless. The attendant says that he tries to escape by jumping out of the window.  However, in his present physical condition I do not regard it expedient to remove him as it might endanger his life."

The physicians at the regular hospital are practically of the same opinion and Judge Watkins will probably adjourn the hearing for a couple of weeks before it will be decided whether or not he should be removed.
