THE NEW BUILDING FOR THE STATE SAVINGS BANK

The Eberbach property on Main street, recent y acquired by the State Savings bank, will be at once improved by the erection of an elegant bank building costing $20,000.

Architect Spier & Rohns, of Detroit, have planned a structure of stone and brick, three stories high, and with basement. The first story will be built of light-colored stone, with granite columns. The second and third stories will be of brick. Trimmings and cornice will be of terra cotta.

The structure is to be fireproof. The first floor will be given over entirely to banking purposes. Offices for renting will be provided on the second floor. A hall will take up the third story. The floor of the first story will be of tile, all others of hardwood.

A steam heating plant will be installed in the basement. On the ground the building will measure 30x50 feet.
