GOT A VERDICT
FOR A THOUSAND

The jury in the circuit court were out an hour and half Wednesday afternoon in the case of Hiram Bouteil vs. the Michigan Central Railway, and brought in a verdict of $1.000 in damages tor the plaintiff, The case was brought from Ypsilanti, Attorney Lee N. Brown being the attorney for the plaintiff and John F. Lawrence for the defendant. The jurors were P. A. Murray, John Clark, Jesse Smith, Christian Furthmiller, Frank Holcomb, James Gallagher, W. B. Meyer, John Campbell, Clarimon Pray, Herman F. Miller, Oscar Jackson and William Walsh.
