DIDN'T DELAY THE CAR FERRIES
Winter up to this time has been a most economical one for the railroads, and especially for those operating in Michigan and operating car ferries in connection with the roads. General Manager Ashley of the Ann Arbor says it has been the most economical one his road has experienced for some years. There has been very little trouble with the car ferries, as there have been very few storms. The Ann Arbor's ferries have not missed a trip this winter. It is said that the worst time up in Michigan is always between Jan. 15 and Feb. 15, and there is ordinarily very little trouble after the latter date, and the roads are congratulating themselves on these conditions. The roads in this section have had very little trouble with the snow, although the eastern roads have suffered considerably.
