Dr.Elias Smith Did Not Sign His Own Will

The will of Dr.Elias Smith of Whitmore Lake, Filed in the probate office, is written on two sheets of paper. he gives his wife the use of all his property and after her death it shall be equally divided among his children.

The signature to the will is Elias Smith per Thomas D. Moss, justice of the peace. The instrument is dated March 11, 1897, and witnessed by Maggie Hamel and James Hamel.
