M'CART IS AFTER A PARDON
SENTENCED FOR LIFE FROM THIS COUNTY IN 1897
The Advisory Board Declined to Make Any Recommendation
The advisory board of pardons met at Jackson Friday and considered cases. In the case of Robert McCart, sent to the state prison from Washtenaw county May 5, 1897, for life, for criminal assault, the board declined to make any recommendation. McCart is now at the Ionia asylum, where he has been for several years. He is now said to be practically cured.
