Webster, March 26. - O. D. Lanphear is preparing to move his family to Ann Arbor the first of April, where he will start a boarding house. He sold at auction his stock and farm tools last Friday and has rented his farm. 

Miss Clara Feiner of Ann Arbor returned home last Wednesday after a two weeks' visit with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Brucklacher. 

William Scadin died Sunday, March 23. Funeral was held at the Congregational church Tuesday, March 25. He was well known and highly respected by all. He leaves a wife and two sons to mourn his loss.

S.T. Wheeler was in Ann Arbor Wednesday on business.

Will Spiegelberg of Whitmore Lake, with his engine and sawing machine, is helping the farmers around here with their wood piles. He saws from 75 to 100 cords a day.

Jay Davenport has rented the farm belonging to Mrs. Mary Noonin. Dr. N. Swartz assists Mrs. Noonin in the management of her affairs. 

Will Knight, with his clipping machine, is changing the looks of a number of horses in this vicinity. 

Mrs. Stearns Wheeler is entertaining her mother, Mrs. T. Lound, of Conway.

Mr. Scully of Owosso is rebuilding the house on the old Averil Burnett farm. His wife, who owns the farm, was before marriage Miss Mary Ellen Gallagher, daughter of the late Patrich Gallagher.

The Socila Sircule of the M. E. church meet at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Starks last Thursday. A large number were present, who did full justice to the good dinner prepared by Mrs. Starks.
