A Pastor Saved By Pe-ru-na

A PASTOR WHO WAS BEFRIENDED BY AN EMPEROR SAVED BY PE-RU-NA.

Rev. H. Stubenvoll, of Elkhorn, Wis„ is pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran St. John's Church of that place. Rev. Steubenvoll is the possessor of two bibles presented to him by Emperor William of Germany. Upon the fly leaf of one of the bibles the Emperor has written in his own handwriting a text.
