S.J. Dill of Springfield, Mass., has been appointed superintendent of D., Y., A. A. & J. railway. He will make his headquarters in Ypsilanti. Mr. Dill has had much experience in steam and electric railroading and comes very well recommended. He is a pleasant gentleman who understands his business. 

The report on the street that General manager Merrill was about to transfer his headquarters from Ypsilanti to Lansing is unfounded. He laughed when asked as to its truth and said there was nothing to report.
