STANDARD TIME FOR ANN ARBOR
Everything will Probably Run on it Next Week
COURT HOUSE CLOCK
Will be Set on That Time and Schools will Run on Standard Time
Ann Arbor is to have standard time at last.
The court house clock is to be set on standard time. The University clock is to be set on standard time. The city schools are to run on standard time. The D., Y., A. A. & J. is to run on standard time.
The board of supervisors after a hot fight last October, decided to set the court house clock on standard time as soon as the University and the Street cars adopted it. The University regents determined on standard time as soon as the others adopted it. The school board adopted standard time to go into effect at the same time. The electric line thus held key to the situation. They have decided to adopt it as soon as they put in their interlocker on W. Huron street, which will probably be on Sunday next. Cars will then run through from Detroit to Jackson.
Standard time has been a long time coming, but it is about here at last.
