THREE GIRLS WERE DRIVEN FROM CITY

Kittie Hines, Maggie Riley and Kate McGinnis, the inmates of the place known as "The Farm," who were arrested about two weeks ago, pleaded guilty before Justice Andrew Gibson, Wednesday, and were given fine and costs amounting to $13.95 in the case of the HInes woman and $5.53 in the case of the others, which they paid.

"What about the eight prominent business men who are reported to have been found in the place by the officers?" was asked the justice.

"They weren't 'prominent business men,' although in one capacity or another they are all in business," was the answer, "and they were not placed under arrest. The marshal has their names but no one else has an idea as to their identity."

The three women, who were fined, left the city this morning.
