Manchester, Mich., April 15.--Miss Mary Clarkson, of Ann Arbor, is spending the week with relatives in this vicinity.

The 20th Century club will meet with Mrs. T. J. Farrel, Wednesday evening.

Miss Ruth Cushman, who has been visiting relatives about here for the past two weeks, returned to Ann Arbor Monday afternoon and was accompanied by Little Katherine Watkins, who will remain there a short time.

Mrs. E. P. Allen, of Ypsilanti, spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Campbell. Mr. Allen came up Monday and accompanied her home.

Mrs. Homer Hall is in Addison caring for her parents, who are ill.

Miss Anna Lighthall, of Chelsea, was the guest of Miss Abbie Chase over Sunday.

O. H. Meyers, of Ann Arbor, has rented the Freeman house and will take possession May 1. About five years ago Meyers & Helliker were proprietors of the hotel and made many friends at this place who will be glad to welcome Mr. Meyers back.

Mrs. G. H. Ford and daughter, Murl, went to Ann Arbor Monday to visit at Judge Watkins' a few days. From there they will go to Detroit to remain until some time next week.

A minstrel show will be given at Arbeiter hall Thursday evening, April 17, under the auspices of and for the benefit of the Maccabees, after which there will be a dance.

The funeral of a little son of John Feldkamp, of Sharon, was held at Emanuel's church Saturday afternoon. He died Thursday at the age of three years.

W. D. McWilliams, of Jackson, was in town Monday.
