Plan To Propagate Oysters

The New Jersey legislature has again made an appropriation for the study of oysters at the station established by Professor Nelson at Tuckerton, N.J. he expects to make during the summer a special search for a variety of oyster whose embryo will survive and develop under artificial conditions, with the ultimate object of discovering how to plant and propagate oysters in regions where they do not now naturally propagate.
