THIS COUNTY CONCEDED TO BLISS

The Stearns leaders in the fight for the republican gubernatorial nomination, concede Washtenaw County to Bliss. They are, however, figuring on a majority of the delegates to the convention, including the Wayne, Kent, Bay and Ingham County delegations. As yet no Stearns leader for Washtenaw has forged to the front, although well know fact that Bliss cannot hold his party vote here if a good candidate is put up against him. The leaders, however, appear to be for him.

Rush Culver, of the upper peninsula, is out in an interview for Maybury as the democratic candidate for governor. Mr. Maybury ran a number of hundred votes ahead of his ticket in Washtenaw the last time.
