The State Board of Health reports 20 deaths in Ann Arbor during March, 8 in Ypsilanti and 64 in the whole county. Of these 64 deaths 29 were of persons over 65 years old. Eleven of the deaths in the county were from pneumonia, four from violence, three from cancer, five from consumption, one from diphtheria, and one from typhoid fever.

Pneumonia numbered six victims in Ann Arbor in March and none in Ypsilanti. There were two deaths from violence in Ann Arbor and one in Ypsilanti. The one death from diphtheria in the county was at Ypsilatnti, and the one from typhoid fever at Ann Arbor.
