That is the Additional Water Supply Company Hopes to Develop on Newly Purchased Lands

The Ann Arbor Water company hope to develop an additional supply of 1,000,000 gallons of water per day this summer and they have planned the putting down of a number of additional wells to get this supply.

Saturday they started their well boring machine on the Kuhn property out W. Washington street, which they recently purchased. They will put down several wells on each side of the creek, the number depending upon the quantity of water they find.

It is to be hoped for the comfort and convenience of consumers who desire to keep their lawns nicely sprinkled, that the water company may strike an abundant additional supply. The wells that the company now have on Washington street furnish the best water which now runs through the mains. These new wells are farther west and it is supposed by the company that the new supply will be similar in quality.
