Rocco Disteride, the confectioner, is tearing down his little store on the corner of Kingsly and Detroit streets, and has left the contract to Hochrein & Braun for a large store which will be built on the property as soon as the old structure is removed.

The new building will be a two-story frame, with brick veneering and stone foundation. The store will face Detroit street and will have a handsome tile entrance. The first floor will contain the store, ice cream parlor and kitchen, while the second floor will be occupied by the family.

The brick used in the construction of the building will be hand burnt and the outside finishing lumber will be of Michigan pine. White maple will be used for the floors of the store, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. The entire store front is to be fitted with the best polished American plate glass.

The building will be fitted up with all the modern improvements and when finished will be very attractive and a great improvement to the street on which it will be located
