Little Nona Fogerty, a pupil at the Fourth ward school and a daughter of Mrs. Emma B. Fogerty, living at 518 Lawrence Street, was run over by a bicyclist at Lawrence and State street about 3:30 o’clock Monday afternoon.

Young Harold Stevens, who saw the accident, says the bicyclist, who was riding at a great rate of speed, ran into the child as she was crossing the walk.  The little one was thrown to the ground and for a time it looked as though she had been seriously injured, but after she recovered from the shock of the fall she was able to go to her home, assisted by some older girls who came along just as the little girl was thrown to the ground.

The fellow who rode the bicycle did not wait to help the child whom he had run down, but hurried up State Street, despite the fact that a number of persons called upon him to stop.

It is not known whether or not the child is injured internally as she was suffering considerably after she was brought home.
