Chelsea, Apr. 25 - Everybody is invited to the Congregational Church on May 2, when the sisterhood will give a good supper for 15 cents, children ten cents with the following menu:

 

Potato Salad, Boston Baked Beans, Cold Tongue, Brown or White Bread, Cottage Cheese, Pickles, Prune Whip, Assorted Cakes, Coffee.

 

The Presbyterian Church of Unadilla will hold a warm sugar social at their hall April 30.

 

Another business enterprise has been started in Chelsea, known as “The Chelsea Lumber and Produce Co.” with the following stockholders: O. C. Burkhart, F. H. Sweetland, W. P. Schenk, J. W. Schenk, and F. P Glazier.  Anything in the shape of produce will be bought by them.

 

Mrs. George Irwin, of South Street, lies dangerously ill at her home.  She was quite suddenly stricken recently while preparing to attend church and has been in a serious condition since.  Fears are entertained as to her recovery.  Mrs. Irwin has been a resident of this village for upwards of 30 years.
