Andrew Doyle, the umbrella mender, is languishing in the county jail because he was unable to secure bonds Monday when he was arraigned before Justice Doty on the charge of larceny.
Doyle, it appears was engaged to do some work John George Wild, the tailor, and when he had taken his departure, it is alleged by Mr. Wild that a pair of shears valued at $1.50 was missing. Doyle being the gentleman whom Wild suspected of having made too free with the shears had a warrant Issued for the umbrella tinker's arrest.
