'A Tale of the Christ"

Rev. W. L. Tedrow has announced that, beginning with next Sunday evening, he will deliver at Trinity Lutheran church a series of four, Sunday evening sermons, on General Wallace's interesting story of "Ben Hur, a Tale of the Christ."

These sermons will be illustrated with a large number of richly colored stereopticon views that will make the story very clear and bring out with striking effect the beautiful thoughts of the author. The first sermon will deal with the first book which describes the meeting of the magi in the desert, their visit to Jerusalem, the arrival of Joseph and Mary at the inn, the surprise and joy of the shepherds, the magi in the presence of Christ and the effects. No more remarkable story of this part of the Christ-life has ever been told, and with these views as windows through which to look at it, we have the assurance of something interesting and profitable. It will help to appreciate that interesting book more than ever, and all who desire to get the real benefit should hear all four of these sermons.
