JOHN O'HARA DIED AT HIS HOME TUESDAY MORNING

Was One of the Most Widely Known Men in This County--Heart Disease Caused His Death

John O'Hara, a prominent citizen and ne of the most widely known men of Washtenaw county, died Tuesday morning at 9:30 of heart disease at the home of his son, Philip O'Hara, 529 Elizabeth street.

Mr. O'Hara had been ill over four months, suffering from a complication of diseases. Several weeks ago he went to Mt. Clemens hoping that the baths at the sanitarium might help him, but he returned two weeks ago without being benefited.

The deceased was born 67 years ago in Ann Arbor town and had always lived there until his last illness, when he came to reside with his son Elizabeth street. He had a host of friends and was a popular member of the Elks, which society he has been connected many years.

He leaves four children-- Sister Mary  Edwards, of St. Mary's academy, Monroe; Mrs. P. Kiefe, Chatfield, Minn; Daniel O'Hara, Brighton, and Philip O'Hara, of this city. The last three were at his bedside when death came. Mrs. Johanna Nanry, of Dixboro, is his only sister.

The funeral was held Thursday morning from St. Patrick's church, Northfield, of which parish he was a member. Rev. Fr. Goldrich officiated. His remains were placed in the Northfield cemetery beside those of his wife, who died 38 years ago.

The deceased leaves a large estate to his children.
