Spoke On The Civil War

SPOKE ON THE CIVIL WAR
The G. A. R. memorial service held at the Congregational church Sunday morning, was attended by most of the members of Welch Post, No. 137, the Women's Relief Corps, many Sons of Veterans, Co. I, M. N. G., and quite a number of the Spanish War Veterans.
Rev. C. S. Patton spoke on the civil war, giving a most interesting and feeling discourse. The music, which was espiecially selected for the occasion, was rendered by the regular choir of the church. At the close of the service the old soldiers and the rest of the congregation joined in singing "America."
