PRINTERS HAVE GAINED A POINT
An amicable agreement has been made between the employing printers and the members of the local typographical union, whereby the latter will have the old ten hours' pay for nine hours' work.
When the nine-hour day adopted by the International Typographical union went into effect three years ago, the local union accepted the nine-hour day at a corresponding decrease In wages. Now they will have the same pay for nlne hours as was formerly received for ten.
