New Brewery Will Soon Start
NEW BREWERY WILL SOON START
COMPANY INCORPORATES WITH CAPITAL OF $50,000
Meeting of the Stockholders Held Monday and Directors Elected
At a meeting of the stockholders of the new brewery, to be located on the site of the Western brewery after the latter is torn down, Monday afternoon it was agreed to purchase on which the Western brewery stands for $9000. The following directors were elected: William A. Gwinner, Christian Martin, Fred Brown, Louis Kurtz and George Krouth.
The new company is incorporated with a capital stock of $50,000. Work on the new plant will plant begin, it is expected, within 30 days. When it is completed it will be one of the most modern breweries in the county.
Most of the stock in the new concern is held by Ann Arbor people, chiefly saloon men.
