Miss Bower Is A Candidate

MISS BOWER IS A CANDIDATE

   Miss Emma Bower, Gread Record Keeper of the L.O.T.M..,  will leave on Saturday to attend the biennial convention of the organization, which will take place in Marquette next week. She will accompanied by Miss Catherine Johnson, Miss Alice Root and Mrs. Nellie Rice, clerks in the office here. On Sunday, Mrs. Carrie L. Kellogg and Mrs. Mary A. Blake, delegate and alternate respectively to the convention, will leave for Marquette.

   At the convention the election of officers will take place, Miss Bower being again a candidate for the office of the Great Record Keeper. She has a competitor in the person of Mrs. Maxwell who, it will be remembered, said some time ago that she would be willing to give away the salary of the office of Great Record Keeper, if she could get the place. The sentiment, however, seems to be that Miss Bower will be re-elected.
